Typical thieves! They charged me $570 to replace 4 $16 spark plugs with a $180 fuel system cleanup, which you can get at Walmart auto center for $30, as I learned later. The original quote was $1,600, because Alex (manager) alluded that the "coils" needed to be replaced, at a cost of $200+ each. I declined the coils, but when I picked up the vehicle, he told me that he had replaced 2 of them "at no charge" ... How generous, right?

Poorly managed and SCAM the customers. I was told that my radiator needs to be replaced... but my dealer says it is totally fine. After that I cancel the radiator service, I was charged a restocking fee 20% for the radiator I didn't need the first place and wasn't given any refund for the radiator they never placed in my car. I went back to the store a few times and left 5 voice mails at their "customer care" line... it has been 3 months... no response to date. I disputed the charge with my credit card company and now filed a suit for this with the small claims court. This place can't be trusted and it is the worst experience I have had for the 25 years I have been in the States. It is a shame that they don't take care of their customers and are dishonest. RUN!

I had the full system flush and spark plug change out at 90k miles at suggestion of They as part of oil change and tire rotate. I was told fluids looked dirty. After agreeing to work and getting car back, I checked records and found I had a similar service (w/o spark plug change) at 60k miles. My fault for not checking my records (in glove box), but strong sales push by They made it sound like service was required. I'll know better next time. Waste of $1000

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. I came in just for a state inspection, expecting to pay around $20-$25 max. After "inspecting" my car, the mechanics said there were multiple things in need of repair, and gave me a bill for nearly $1800!!! On top of this, they said the car wouldn't pass state inspection until the expensive work was done. They even tried to fast talk me into enrolling into an installment plan to pay it off. I knew this amount couldn't possibly be right, so I had them cancel the work. I took the car to the dealership where it was originally purchased and had them perform the state inspection instead. The bill came to $25 and the car passed inspection. The dealership only found minor problems with the car, and nothing that warranted the $1800 worth of work that I was charged initially by Driver's Auto Repair. They didn't even find $400 worth of potential work at the dealership! Long story short: This Driver's Auto Repair is dishonest, and will charge you and arm and a leg for parts you don't need.

Extortionists!!! I was a mechanic in the Marine Corps. I brought my vehicle in to have the AC system checked out because ACs are not my specialty. After the "free" check i was told that I needed a capture and recharge with a dye to determine any leaks. After waiting for a while I was told that I needed the entire AC manifold replaced and that the only place to get the part was from the dealer. I asked, "So the manifold is leaking?" He says, "Yes." As i said, I'm not toally privvy to AC systems. I get the quote and it's some ridiculous price that i can't pay at the moment. The guy tries to argue with me that it needs to be done now, but i simply say that I can't. I pay for services done and take my keys and drive off. Barely onto the road i notice that my AC is working worse than when i brought it in. I bring it back and speak to someone else and explain what just happened. He goes and talks to the mech working on my vehicle and the mech says that he was told to stop what he was doing and bring the car around. This was before he could recharge the AC system, which includes the dye to detect leaks, I know that you need to recharge the AC system WITH the dye to detect any leaks, especially when you're about to give a quote to a customer that's over $1k. When the mechanic brought my car around the second time, I met him outside to talk with him, and he told me that the system was just overcharged and that it should be fine now. I never told these people i was a mechanic because i don't go around flaunting to everyone that i was in the Marines, and this place rolled with that lack of knowledge and tried to extort me for something that didn't need to be done.

My experience with "they," was an absoloute joy. We had to leave our car in their parking lot late on a Sunday night. There were no problems and when I called on Monday there was no apprehension about it with the shop and they were particularly patient. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this shop to anyone. If all your shops are as well run as the one we dealt with they could give lessons to the business community about customeer service. They set a high standard.

I was from out of town when my water pump went out and this place saved my trip. Towed me for free, showed me what was wrong with the engine, finished on time, and even drove me to a rental car store. The front office was nice/professional and my car runs great now!
