Is the battery test really free?
Yes. We load test the battery, measure alternator output, check starter draw and send photos of the readings — at no charge and with no obligation.
How do I know if it is the battery or the alternator?
A rough rule: if it will not start but runs fine after a jump, suspect the battery. If it starts on a jump then dies, suspect the alternator. Testing is the only way to be sure and it takes minutes.
My battery is new and it still will not start.
Then something else is at fault — often the alternator not charging it, a drain overnight, corroded terminals or a failing starter. A new battery in a car with a charging fault will die again.
Do I need to tow it?
Not always. Call 832.220.5599 first — sometimes it is a connection we can talk you through, and sometimes towing genuinely is the right call. We will tell you honestly.
Can you replace a battery the same day?
Almost always. Starters and alternators are usually same-day too, depending on the vehicle and parts availability.
How long should a battery last in Houston?
Less than the label suggests. Gulf Coast heat and humidity are harder on batteries than cold, so three to four years is realistic rather than five.
